2008: Led the Pioneers in every notable pitching statistic during her first season at TWU…Posted an 11-18 record with a 3.45 ERA in 29 starts…threw 25 complete games and 203 innings total…made nine relief appearances and recorded two saves…recorded the first win of her Pioneer career with a 3-0 shutout vs. Central Missouri on Feb. 9…struck out 136 batters, the third-most in the Lone Star Conference…her 43 strikeouts looking were tied for the second-most in the LSC…struck out a season-high nine batters on two occasions, Feb. 22 at Henderson State and Feb. 29 versus West Texas A&M…chosen as the LSC South Division Pitcher of the Week for the week of Feb. 17-24 after winning two games at the 2008 Henderson State Diamond Reddie Classic…control was another strength for Case as she had a two-to-one strikeout to walk ratio and threw just four wild pitches.

PRIOR TO TWU:  Played one year (2007) at Western Texas College (NJCAA) in Snyder, Texas…was the top pitcher on a Lady Westerner team that was the co-champion of the Western Junior College Athletic Conference, won the Region V West Championship and advanced all the way to the 2007 NJCAA National Tournament…named to the 2007 NJCAA All-American Third Team…was the MVP of WJCAC and a six-time WJCAC Player of the Week…also honored as an NFCA All-Region V first team selection.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Played four years (2003-2006) on the varsity softball team at Bowie (Texas) HS…a four-time All-District 5-3A first team selection…won the District 5-3A MVP award in 2004…took home All-District 6-3A MVP honors in 2005 and 2006…on two occasions, 2005 and 2006, she was picked for the Texas Girls Coaches Association All-State first team…named to the 2005 Texas Sports Writer’s Association All-State team…played club softball for the Colleyville Hornets, Texas Elite, and Fort Worth BatBusters…was also a three-year volleyball letterwinner (2003-05) in high school…earned All-District 5-3A first team honors in volleyball in 2003 and All-District 6-3A first team distinction in 2004 and 2005.

PERSONAL:  A human biology major…the daughter of Becky and Ricky Case…enjoys being at the lake, fishing, and hanging out with her family in her free time.

What are your hobbies (outside of your sport)? Lake, Cooking with my Mom, shooting guns with my Dad
What is your greatest ambition? To live my life to its fullest each day with no regrets

In ten years, I will be: Graduated from Dental School and finally know what its like to have a “real job.” I will also have built a house in my parents back yard so I can have my Mom’s home-cooking every single day.
