Kalyn Hill

Kalyn Hill, a Southern California native and former catcher at Tarleton State University, joins TWU following a highly accomplished collegiate playing career.

Hill graduated from Tarleton in spring 2025 with a bachelor's degree in sociology and a minor in Spanish. During her senior season, she started all 58 games and was named First Team All-WAC, WAC All-Tournament Team, and NFCA All-Region Third Team. She hit .384 with 68 hits, 12 doubles, seven home runs and 43 RBI.

In 2024, Hill also started every game for the Texans, recording eight doubles, two home runs, and 16 RBI. She posted an eight-game hitting streak in March and ranked among team leaders in walks.

Hill began her collegiate career at Seattle University, where she appeared in 103 games over two seasons, starting 101. She hit .297 with eight home runs and 57 RBI, while maintaining a .989 fielding percentage and proving to be a reliable leader behind the plate.

Before college, Hill was a four-year varsity starter at Murrieta Mesa High School in Murrieta, California, earning First Team All-League honors as a senior and leading her Athletics Mercado-Hovermale select team to an Alliance National Championship in 2021.

She also brings coaching experience as a travel ball coach from 2019–2024, private catching and hitting instructor, and staff coach at the Jen Schro Catching Retreats in 2023 and 2024.
