Sena Horne

Sena Horne is her second year as an assistant softball coach at Texas Woman's University.

Horne came to TWU after spending three years as the head coach at Northwood University in Cedar Hill, Texas. She coached the Lady Knights to three consecutive NAIA National Championship Tournament appearances. Under her direction 18 players received all-conference honors and 11 players earned academic all-america honors. Horne was named the 2011 Red River Athletic Conference Coach of the Year after guiding the team to the third straight RRAC Postseason Tournament title.

Prior to coaching at Northwood, Horne was a graduate assistant coach for one year at Henderson State for head coach Richie Bruister in 2008. She began her coaching career at Texarkana College an assistant coach before going to HSU. Horne helped the Bulldogs capture the conference championship and regional championship.

Horne also played collegiate softball for Bruister at Henderson State from 2004-05. She was named the team MVP in 2005. Horne was also a pitcher at Texarkana College (2002) and Ranger College (2003).

Horne earned her Associate's Degree from Ranger College in 2003 and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in 2007.
