AS A JUNIOR (2026)
Smith appeared in 55 games and made 53 starts. Offensively, she recorded 41 hits, 32 runs, 20 RBIs, nine home runs, and 10 doubles, finishing with a .285 batting average, a .415 on-base percentage, and a .957 OPS. Defensively, she recorded eight putouts and one assist. Smith delivered a standout performance in TWU's 4–1 LSC Tournament victory over Western New Mexico on May 6, hitting two home runs, scoring twice, and driving in four runs. Smith helped the Pioneers finish 23–17 in LSC play, qualify for the conference tournament as the No. 8 seed, and earn their first LSC Tournament victory since 2017.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2025)
Smith started in 37 games for the Pioneers before her sophomore campaign was cut short of injury, where she still recorded 47 hits,13 RBIs, 19 runs, four stolen bases, and had a team high on-base percentage of .444. Defensively, she finished with 40 putouts, two assists, and a .977 fielding percentage.
AS A FRESHMAN (2024)
Smith appeared in 42 games for the Pioneers as a freshman, where she recorded 24 hits, nine RBIs, 10 runs, and had an on-base percentage of .313. She was named to the Fall 2023 LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll.
PRIOR TO TWU
From just around the corner, the freshman Elizabeth Smith joins TWU from Lewisville, Texas. The outfielder and third baseman was a member of the Glory Fastpitch softball team for two years from 2014 to 2016. Then, she played for American Freedom Sports for five years. Smith received the Academic All-District award in 2022 and 2023.
Her love for softball drives her to coach young softball players as a way to give back to the sport she loves and the community. She was also involved with the Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) and the student council organizations during high school. Smith will be majoring in English Education at TWU.
