AS A SOPHOMORE (2025)
Townsend started in 48 games for the Pioneers, where she recorded 41 hits, three home runs, a tied team high of 28 RBIs, 20 runs, four stolen bases, and had an on-base percentage of .317. In right field, she finished with 60 putouts, two assists, and a .939 fielding percentage.
AS A FRESHMAN (2024)
Townsend appeared in 36 games for the Pioneers as a freshman, where she recorded 21 hits, 12 RBIs, eight runs, three doubles, and had an on-base percentage of .247. Defensively, she finished with 32 putouts. Townsend was named to the Fall 2023 LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll.
PRIOR TO TWU
A pitcher from Mansfield, Texas, Hawwa Townsend also doubles as a utility player. She played softball all four years at Mansfield High School, where she became Second All-State in 2021 and made three consecutive playoff appearances 2019-2021.
