Texas Woman's University Athletics

2008: Split time in the outfield and at designated player in her first season at TWU…made 14 starts in left field, 15 starts in right field, and 17 starts as the designated player…totaled 25 hits in 136 plate appearances…three of her hits were for extra bases…scored six runs and drove in four more…hit her only home run of the season in the Pioneers’ 9-1 loss to North Texas on Apr. 16…had three multiple hit games…best game of the season was a three-for-three day at the plate in a 6-1 TWU loss versus St. Edward’s on Feb. 10…made just one error in 28 chances in the field.

PRIOR TO TWU:  Played two seasons (2006-07) at Navarro (Texas) College…hit .466 while at Navarro and was a member of the 2006 NJCAA All-Region XIV first team…was an outstanding student at Navarro, making the Dean’s List and gaining membership in the Psi Beta National Honor Society for Junior Colleges.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Earned four varsity softball letters (2002-05) at Bellaire (Texas) HS in the greater Houston area…an All-District 18-5A first team selection in 2004 and 2005…played club softball for Texas Select and the Houston Hazzard.

PERSONAL:  A psychology major…the daughter of Bonnie Behrle…hobbies include playing guitar and singing.
