Hendrix, the oldest member of the Pioneers, saw some action in left field last season... formerly a police officer for TWU, the 37-year-old is majoring in kinesiology and minoring in nutrition... Hendrix has competed in the Police Olympics for the last nine years and won gold medals in softball and police mountain bike in 1996... she also won medals in track and volleyball... Hendrix was a police officer from 1986-93 at the University of Texas... from 1979-83, she served in the U.S. Air Force at Bergstrom Air Force Base in Austin as a vehicle operator/dispatcher... Hendrix attended Austin Community College in 1980-81... a 1979 graduate of McRae High School, she lettered all four years in three sports - softball, basketball, and volleyball... she was a member of the Beta Club, an academic honor society.
