Softball senior Sylestine has been named this month's Edward Jones Student-Athlete of the Month...had five Home runs this season for the pioneers...with a batting average of .324


JUNIOR (2018)
> Played and started in all 45 games
> Plated 39 runs on 44 hits for a .354 batting average
> Lead the team in RBI with 98, hit 12 doubles, and 14 home runs with a .810 slugging percentage
> Recorded a .931 fielding percentage at third base
> Edward Jones Pioneer Student-Athlete of the Month (March)
> TWU Sports Performance Award
> Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll 

SOPHOMORE (2017)
> Played and started in 58 games
> Posted a .349 batting average, plated 31 runs on 58 hits, 51 RBI, 15 doubles and 11 home runs and a .639 slugging percentage
> Led the team in RBI and was second on the team for slugging percentage, doubles and total bases

Tylia Sylestine was born December 26, 1996. She is the daughter of Rick and Belinda Sylestine and has three siblings: Jeremy, Josh, and Shawni.
