AS A JUNIOR (2023-24)
In her third year with the Pioneers, Hines helped guide the Pioneers to a historic, record-breaking season. During the 2023-24 season, the Pioneers claimed the LSC Regular Season Title and East Division Title for the second consecutive year. Then, they won the LSC Tournament Title for the second time in program history and first time since 2011. TWU finished with their highest regional ranking, one, and hosted the South Central Regional Tournament for the first time in program history, claiming the 2024 South Central Regional Tournament Title for the first time in program history. After TWU advanced to the Elite Eight for the first time in program history, they made more history by closing the season as the 2024 National Runner-Up. During the season, TWU set numerous records: most wins (34), fewest losses (5), most points in a season (2,826), most assists (603), most field goals made (978), most field goals attempted (2,141), most free throws made (666), and most free throws attempted (858). They closed the season with their highest national ranking in program history at No. 2. Hines appeared in all 39 games for the Pioneers and started 13. She averaged 19.6 minutes per game. She scored a career high 147 points, averaging 3.8 points per game. She grabbed a career high 28 steals and 91 rebounds. She shot 34.2% from the field on the season. Hines scored a season high 11 points on Jan. 13 against St. Edward’s and grabbed a career high four steals. She grabbed a career high eight rebounds on Dec. 7, 2023 against WNMU.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2022-23)
Hines started in 21 of 31 games and played 558 total minutes, where she helped the Pioneers set the record for most wins (26), fewest losses (six), most consecutive wins (21), and the best start in program history (14-1). Hines helped guide the team to the highest national ranking in program history and highest South Central Regional Championships seed (two), first ever back-to-back regional appearances, an LSC Regular Season Championship title and East Division Title. The DeSoto native also helped set a new LSC Championships record with the highest three point percentage in a game shooting 72.2% from the three in their semifinal win over Lubbock Christian. She reached double figures twice in scoring with 10 points in wins over Oklahoma Christian and St. Edward’s, and finished with 106 points and 69 rebounds on the season. Hines was named to the Fall 2022 and Spring 2023 LSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
AS A FRESHMAN (2021-22)
In her freshman season, Hines appeared in 25 games and played 278 minutes in a season when the Pioneers tied their fewest losses in program history. She scored a season-high 12 points and grabbed a season-high four rebounds in the Pioneers win at Midwestern State on Feb. 8, 2022. She finished the season with 57 points.
PRIOR TO TWU
Hines lettered in basketball at DeSoto High School, where she competed on a state championship team, and was an honorable mention academic all-district pick.
