Biography
AS A JUNIOR (2021-22)
Woods played in 28 games for the Pioneers and started 27 games in the Pioneers historical 2021-22 season. She scored double-digit points nine times across the season, including a season-high 18 points in the Pioneers win at ENMU on Feb. 3, 2022. She finished the season shooting 36.3% from the field, 33.7% from the 3-point line and 83.3% from the free throw line. She grabbed a season-high eight rebounds in the Pioneers win against UT-Tyler on Dec. 20, 2021. She finished the season with 50 steals, including a season-high six steals against East Central on Nov. 17, 2021. She was named the Lone Star Conference Defensive Player of the Week twice and received All-LSC Honorable Mention.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2020-21)
Woods played in three games. She averaged 5.7 points and 2.3 boards per game. She scored a season-best nine points in the season finale at Cameron and grabbed a season-best four boards in the season opener against Texas A&M International.
AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2019-20)
Woods saw action in 21 games, drawing the start in 20. She averaged 8.7 points and 4.8 rebounds per game. She hit double-figure in points six times, with a season-high 22 points coming against UT Permian Basin. Her lone double-double of the season came in a 15-point, 13-rebound effort at Angelo State. She dished out a season-best five assists twice, at Tarleton State and later at home against Tarleton State.
PRIOR TO TWU
Woods redshirted her initial year of eligibility at UT of the Permian Basin. She is a 2018 graduate of DeSoto (Texas) High School where she led the Lady Eagles to the state championship.
