Colby Cox

Colby Cox is in his first season as the Pioneers’ graduate assistant coach.

He graduated from Texas A&M in May 2014. Cox was the practice player from 2011-14 for the women's basketball program led by head coach Gary Blair. He helped the Aggies capture the 2012-13 SEC title and advance to three NCAA tournaments. Cox coordinated the men's practice team and helped break down the film on the opponents all three years. He worked at the Gary Blair Coaching Academy in 2013 and volunteered at numerous summer camps.

Cox played at Fort Worth Arlington Heights High School from 2007-10 and was named Texas 4A Academic All-State in 2010.

He earned his bachelor's degree in sports management from Texas A&M. Cox is pursuing his master's degree in kinesiology with emphasis in coaching at TWU.
