Kelsey Wasmer

Kelsey Wasmer enters her first season as a graduate assistant following a steller career at Charleston Southern University.  A three-year starter for the Buccaneers, Wasmer graduated in 2011 with a bachelor’s in biology  She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in sports management.

Wasmer played in 91 games while making 90 starts for CSU and finished ninth all-time leading scorer with 1,177 points.  She finished her career averaging 12.9 points and 4.8 rebounds in 32.2 minutes.

Wasmer was a two-time Big South All-Conference selection.  She was also named All-Conference Academic Team in 2009-10 and 2010-11.  Wasmer was awarded the 2011 All-American Strength and Conditioning Athlete of the Year award by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) for her dedication to strength training and conditioning.

Wasmer has worked at numerous summer basketball camps including the 2011 Pioneer Day Camp and 2011 TWU Instructional Overnight Camp.  She also worked at Charleston Southern Summer Camp for three years.
