Biography
2010-11: Played in 33 games while making 32 starts...named second team All-Lone Star Conference...selected to the Lone Star Conference All-Tournament team after averaging 13.3 points and 6.3 rebounds...second in scoring (12.7 ppg) and blocks (15) and third in rebounding (5.5 rpg)...led the team in steals with 47... reached double digits in scoring in 23 games...named Lone Star Conference Offensive Player of the Week once and Defensive Player of the Week twice.
2009-10: Only player on the team to start all 27 games...named first team All-Lone Star Conference...led the team in scoring with 14.1 points per game, blocks (15) and steals (47)...also added 4.3 rebounds and 45 assists...shot .408 from the floor and .347 from three-point range...reached double digits in scoring in 22 games...scored a career-high 31 points against Central Oklahoma on Feb. 3rd...named Lone Star Conference Defensive Player of the Week on Dec. 14th and Offensive Player of the Week on Jan. 6th.
2008-09: Started all 27 games...second on the team in scoring with 12.6 points per game and field goals made with 126...led the Pioneers in steals (45) and field goal attempts (360)...also averaged 4.6 rebounds in 33.0 minutes per game...shot .350 from the field and .300 from the three-point range...scored a career-high 23 points versus West Texas A&M on Jan. 8, 2009...has 10 or more points in 20 games and 15 or more points in 10 games...recorded a career-high 13 rebounds versus Southwestern Oklahoma on Jan. 24, 2009.
2007-08: Played in the first two games of the year before suffering a season-ending injury.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from China Spring High School in May 2007… played four years of varsity basketball for the Cougars…chosen as the 2006-07 District 17-3A MVP…also picked for the 2006-07 Texas Girls Coaches Association (TGCA) and Texas Association of Basketball Coaches (TABC) All-State first teams…led her China Spring team to the District 17-3A, Region III, and UIL Class 3A state titles in 2005-06…she was named the District 17-3A Defensive Player of the Year, the Region III Tournament MVP, the TABC 3A Player of the Year, and was a nominee for the prestigious Miss Basketball Texas 2006 award her junior year…also selected to the 2006 UIL Class 3A State Tournament All-Tournament Team, the TGCA 2006 3A All-State Team, the 2006 Super Centex 1st Team, the 2006 TABC All-Regional (Region III) team, and the 2006 TABC All-State Team…as a sophomore, she helped China Spring to a berth in the Region III quarterfinals and was chosen for the 2005 All-District 17-3A first team and the 2005 Super Centex 2nd Team…made her debut on the China Spring varsity squad as a freshman in 2003-2004 and was honored as the District 17-3A Newcomer of the Year…also played on the volleyball and softball teams.
PERSONAL: Jessica Erin was born September 15, 1988…the daughter of Richard and Cara Hanna…a kinesiology major.
