AS A JUNIOR (2024-25)
In her second year with the Pioneers, Collie once again helped lead the Pioneers to another historical season. During the 2024-25 season, the Pioneers claimed their third straight LSC Regular Season Title and second straight LSC Tournament Title. Throughout the season, TWU was ranked No. 1 in the nation. They claimed the No. 1 seed in the South Central Region for the second straight and hosted the South Central Regional Tournament in Denton for the second straight season. The Pioneers season came to a close in the NCAA Sweet Sixteen. They ended the season with the fewest losses in program history (2), most consecutive wins in a season with 27. They broke the program record for free throw percentage in a season, shooting 78% from the charity stripe, which broke the former record of 77.6% set last season. The Pioneers also broke the record for lowest opponent field goal percentage in season, holding teams to just 34.8% throughout the season – breaking the former record of 35.3% which was set during the 2015-16 season. Collie played in 11 games and averaged 47.6% from the field. She closed the season with 20 points, two rebounds, one steal and two blocks. She hit her career high of six points twice during the season -- Dec. 19, 2024 at Sul Ross State and Feb. 1 against Cameron. She also grabbed a career high one steal against Lubbock Christian on Dec. 6, 2024 and one career high block twice this season -- Jan. 30 against Oklahoma Christian and Feb. 1 against Cameron. She was also named to the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2023-24)
In her first year with the Pioneers, Collie helped guide the Pioneers to a historic, record-breaking season. During the 2023-24 season, the Pioneers claimed the LSC Regular Season Title and East Division Title for the second consecutive year. Then, they won the LSC Tournament Title for the second time in program history and first time since 2011. TWU finished with their highest regional ranking, one, and hosted the South Central Regional Tournament for the first time in program history, claiming the 2024 South Central Regional Tournament Title for the first time in program history. After TWU advanced to the Elite Eight for the first time in program history, they made more history by closing the season as the 2024 National Runner-Up. During the season, TWU set numerous records: most wins (34), fewest losses (5), most points in a season (2,826), most assists (603), most field goals made (978), most field goals attempted (2,141), most free throws made (666), and most free throws attempted (858). They closed the season with their highest national ranking in program history at No. 2. Collie played in 12 games for the Pioneers. She scored two points on the season, grabbed two steals and played 30 minutes for TWU. She grabbed a TWU career high three rebounds on Nov. 11 against MSU Denver. At the 2024 Oakley’s, she received the Athletes’ Choice Award.
PRIOR TO TWU
Hadyn Collie, from Wimberley, TX, brings collegiate experience to TWU, as she most recently played one season at Central Wyoming College. A 6-foot force in the paint, Collie played 24 games for the Lady Rustlers. On the season, she scored 119 points and grabbed 128 rebounds. On average, she shot 38.6% from the field. In the Lady Rustlers' final game of 2023, Collie recorded a double-double on the season, 10 points and 10 rebounds. Additionally, she scored a season-high 15 points in Central Wyoming's win over Community Christian College on Nov. 19, 2022. Prior to attending Central Wyoming College, Collie played high school basketball for San Marcos Home School and earned All-Tournament Honors in 2021. Collie maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout her freshman season at Central Wyoming and plans to major in Business at TWU.
