Jackson, a 6'0 multiple position player From Sachse, Texas, played high school basketball for Dallas Thunder Homeschool. During her time with the Thunder, she led her team to a District Championship. She also earned several individual accolades, including All-Tournament, Most Valuable Player and Player of the Year. She also played basketball for the club team Missouri Phenom.
