AS A SOPHOMORE (2024-25)
In her second year with the Pioneers, Morgan took a redshirt season.
AS A FRESHMAN (2023-24)
In her first year with the Pioneers, Morgan helped guide the Pioneers to a historic, record-breaking season. During the 2023-24 season, the Pioneers claimed the LSC Regular Season Title and East Division Title for the second consecutive year. Then, they won the LSC Tournament Title for the second time in program history and first time since 2011. TWU finished with their highest regional ranking, one, and hosted the South Central Regional Tournament for the first time in program history, claiming the 2024 South Central Regional Tournament Title for the first time in program history. After TWU advanced to the Elite Eight for the first time in program history, they made more history by closing the season as the 2024 National Runner-Up. During the season, TWU set numerous records: most wins (34), fewest losses (5), most points in a season (2,826), most assists (603), most field goals made (978), most field goals attempted (2,141), most free throws made (666), and most free throws attempted (858). They closed the season with their highest national ranking in program history at No. 2. In her freshman season, Morgan appeared in 18 games for the Pioneers and played 83 minutes. She finished the season with three steals, two assists, two rebounds and eight points. She scored a career high five points on Jan. 13 at St. Edward’s. She also grabbed a career high three rebounds and one steal in the Pioneers’ Elite Eight win over Daemen.
PRIOR TO TWU
Kaylie Morgan, a 5'8 shooting guard from Denton, Texas, played high school basketball at Guyer High School. As a senior with the Wildcats, she averaged 11 points and grabbed five rebounds and was named Second Team All-District.She is a three-time Academic All-District honoree, THSCA Academic All-State award recipient and a TABC Academic All-State student-athlete. Morgan also earned Denton Record-Chronicle All-Area honors and All-District Honorable Mention. Along with playing basketball at Guyer, Morgan also played for Higher Goals for three seasons.
