2008-09:  Will be a medical redshirt during her first year at TWU.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Enjoyed a highly decorated four-year career (2004-08) on the Santo (Texas) Ladycats varsity basketball team..as a freshman, she was an honorable mention All-District 11-1A selection...as a sophomore, she earned a spot on the All-District 11-1A first team...following her junior season, she was voted as the District 11-1A Offensive MVP, named to the All-District 11-1A first team, and chosen for the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches (TABC) All-Region II first team...as a senior in 2007-08, she garnered the District 11-1A MVP award, was tabbed for the All-District 11-1A first team, and repeated on the TABC All-Region II first team...was also named to the 2008 TABC Class 2A All-State team and the 2008 Texas Girls Coaches Association (TGCA) All-State squad...also excelled on the SHS varsity track and golf teams while in high school...excelled academically at Santo as she was an Honor Roll student and a member of two Academic All-District 11-1A basketball teams.

PERSONAL:  Mitzi Lea is the daughter of Rowe and Anita Miller...born on Sept. 27, 1989...hobbies include fishing, camping, cooking, baking, modeling, and making crafts...undecided about her major.
