Biography

2009-10: Played in all 27 games while making 24 starts...led the team in assists with 105 and second in steals with 38...also posted a team-high .836 free-throw percentage...averaged 6.1 points and 3.1 rebounds in 27.1 minutes per game...had six or more assists in six games...recorded a double-double with 12 assists and 13 points against Texas A&M-Commerce on Jan. 30th.

2008-09: Played in all 27 games while making six starts...led the team with 124 assists and fourth in steals with 38...averaged 5.6 points and 2.4 rebounds in 24.4 minutes per game... scored a career-high 23 points and recorded a double-double with 12 assists in a 147-143 quadruple overtime loss at Abilene Christian on January 5, 2009...had six or more assists in nine games including double-digit assists in three games... selected to the 2008-09 Lone Star Conference Women’s Basketball North Division Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

2007-08: Played in all 27 and started 20 of the Pioneers’ games as a freshman...averaged 27. 9 minutes, 4.5 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game...second on the TWU roster with 81 assists and 3.5 assists per game...finished 13th in the Lone Star Conference in assists...scored in double-figures in three games...best outing of the season came on February 21, 2008 when matched her career-high with 15 points, dished out six assists, and made 3 of 7 three-point shots versus Eastern New Mexico...recorded a career-high 13 assists on January 31, 2008 at Eastern New Mexico.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Summit High School in Mansfield, Texas, in May 2007…played two years of varsity basketball (2005-06 and 2006-07) for the Jaguars… as a senior in 2006-07, she averaged five points, four assists, three steals and 2.5 rebounds on a Jaguars team that posted a 33-6 record and advanced all the way to the UIL Class 5A state semifinals…for her efforts during her senior season, she was named to the 2007 All-District 4-5A second team…as a junior in 2005-06, she led her team with 3.4 assists per game and helped Summit to a 31-4 record and a trip to the Region I-5A quarterfinals …chosen to the 2005-06 All-District 4-5A second team.

PERSONAL: Tiandrea Nicole was born on December 27, 1988…the daughter of Les and Karen Dixon…a human biology major...off-court hobbies include working out, watching movies, drawing, and hanging out with friends.
