PRIOR TO TWU
From Buford, Ga., Addi Doan competed with All Around Gymnastics in Alpharetta, Ga. She competed in Level 10 for two years. In Level 10, she had a personal best of 9.625 on bars and a 36.525 in all-around. She also enjoys serving her community. She served as a Team Captain for the Handstand Walk for Kids Pediatric Cancer Research, and she also served with the Youth Christian Outreach Program. 

Addi said: "I decided to attend TWU, because I agree with the standards and values that both the school and the gymnastics team upholds. I knew in choosing TWU I would be coming out after four years, not only with a degree, but as a better person. The coaches and faculty believe in having a growth mindset and instilling qualities in you that will be prepare you for life. Getting to surround myself with such great mentors and like minded people is such a privilege. Seeing how hard the team works to not only do well in gymnastics, but to thrive in their GPAs and as human beings as well was huge for me. Knowing that I would be surrounded by people who believed in me, cared about me, supported me and wanted to grow me spoke volumes in my decision process. The TWU coaches have built something special in their program, and I’m so honored that I get to be a part of this."
