2007: Was a versatile gymnast for the Pioneers, competing in 12 meets on beam and floor and competing six times on vault…delivered outstanding results on beam, with three scores of 9.700 or better and an average beam score of 9.533…recorded a season-and career-high beam score of 9.825 on 3/10 in a quad meet versus Bowling Green, Kentucky, and SEMO…won the beam competition on 2/24 at SEMO with a 9.800…registered six scores of 9.700 or better on floor…average floor score was 9.454 and her floor RQS of 9.71 was the highest on the team…scored a season-high floor score of 9.775 on 2/2 in a tri meet at Centenary and 3/10 versus Bowling Green, Kentucky, and SEMO …her 9.775 was the top floor exercise score in the 2/2 meet at Centenary…a 2007 USAG All-American on floor…an All-MIC second-team choice on floor.
2006: Had a busy freshman year for the Pioneers, competing on three events, vault, beam, and floor...vaulted in four meets, and finished with a 9.575 average score...best vault score was a 9.65 on 3/18/06...was a consistently strong scorer on beam, registering a 9.495 average score and a high mark of 9.775...had three beam scores of 9.75 or better...a regular on the floor exercise, she totaled a 9.437 average for that event...best floor score of the season was a 9.725 at the 2006 MIC Championship meet on 3/25/06... she was in the Pioneers’ line-up for beam (9.650) and floor (9.675) at the 2006 USAG Collegiate National meet...chosen as the MIC Gymnast of the Week for the week of March 13-19, 2006, after posting then career-best scores on vault, beam, and floor in TWU’s triangular meet against BYU and Arizona...an MIC Scholar-Athlete.
CLUB/HIGH SCHOOL: Competed for the Achievers Gymnastics Center in Denton for nine years (1997-05)...was a teammate of current TWU student assistant coach Brisa Fuentes...as a Level 9 gymnast, went to the Junior Olympic Western Nationals and finished ninth in the all-around competition and won the vault at regional competition...graduated from Denton’s Billy Ryan High School in 2005.
