Biography

2008: Vaulted in every meet for the Pioneers as a junior...was in the beam lineup for all but one of the team’s competitions...had eight vault scores of 9.700 or better...hit a season-high 9.800 vault in the 2008 USAGCNC team semifinals on Apr. 17...tallied three second-place finishes on vault during the regular season...also placed second on vault at the 2008 USAGCNC Individual Event Finals...a 2008 USAG All-American on vault...enjoyed another consistent season on beam highlighted by four scores of 9.700 or better...posted a new career-high and finished second on beam with a 9.800 on Feb. 8 versus SEMO...a 2008 All-MIC Scholastic team member and a 2008 USAG Scholar-Athlete...also a member of the 2007-08 NACGC/W Academic All-America team.

2007:  Shined on vault, bars, and beam for TWU during her sophomore season…competed on vault and beam in every meet for the Pioneers…vault was her strongest event, as evidenced by her 9.728 average score and her team-high RQS of 9.765…had seven vaults of 9.750 or better, including two season-high efforts of 9.800…won the vault competition on 2/24 at SEMO… showed outstanding consistency on beam with four scores of 9.700 or better and an average beam score of 9.598…registered a 9.800, the top beam mark of her season (and career) on 2/17 versus Boise State, Illinois State, and Illinois-Chicago…broke into the bars lineup at midseason and tallied three scores of 9.700 or better…posted a career-best bar score of 9.750 on two occasions, at Oklahoma on 3/3 and in the 2007 USAG Collegiate National Championship team finals… a second-team choice to the 2007 USAG All-America team on vault…also earned second team 2007 All-MIC honors on vault…a 2007 All-MIC Scholastic award winner and a member of the 2006-07 NACGC/W Academic All-America Team.

2006:  A mainstay on the vault and beam for TWU as a freshman...emerged as the Pioneers’ top vaulter with a 9.698 average score for the season...had nine scores of 9.70 or better on vault, including a season-high 9.825 at the MIC Championship meet on 3/25/06...finished eleventh (9.113) in the individual vault finals at the 2006 USAGCNC on 3/25/06...competed in 10 meets on beam, averaging a 9.506 score...top mark for the season on beam was a 9.80 at SEMO on 2/4/06...selected as a 2006 USAG All-America on vault and named to the 2006 All-MIC conference first team...an MIC Scholar-Athlete.

CLUB/HIGH SCHOOL:  From grades 7-12, competed for the Colorado Gymnastics Institute in Aurora, Co...qualified for the Region Three meet for seven years in a row... in 2003, earned second place in the all-around at state...as a junior, placed fourth on the beam and fifth in the all-around with a score of 36.875 to qualify for the level 10 Junior Olympic Nationals...at the national meet, finished 15th on the beam...graduated from Grandview High School in 2005.

PERSONAL:  A paralegal major...the daughter of Joel and Jill Parker...enjoys hanging out with her boyfriend, sleeping, reading, and traveling in her spare time...calls grilled salmon her favorite food...fan of the Boston Red Sox and their first baseman, David Ortiz.

Hobbies:  Hanging out with my boyfriend and friends and family, going on vacation, reading, sleeping, going to Church 

In ten years, I will be who knows! Hoping to be happily married with healthy kids living wherever the baseball team is, have a job that I love (sports team agent or lawyer)… and able to visit my family and travel A LOT!!
