Teresa Phipps

Teresa Phipps begins her second season as a Graduate Assistant. She came to TWU after completed her collegiate career at Ball State University in the spring of 2009.

Phipps competed in the all-around at University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh from 2005-2007 and at Ball State in 2009. At UW-Oshkosh, she helped the Titans to the 2007 National Collegiate Gymnastics Association Division III National Championship and was named the Division III Athlete of the Year. Phipps earned the 2007 NCGA All-American honors in the all-around, bars, beam, and vault and was the national bar champion. She also earned the NCGA All-American honors in the all-around and bars in 2006. This past season at Ball State, Phipps captured nine individual event titles during the season and was one of three Cardinals to compete at the 2009 NCAA Central Regional Championships.

Phipps has coached at numerous gymnastics clinics including J.O., YMCA, Girl Scout and high school programs. She also worked at the summer camps at both Ball State and UW-Oshkosh.

Phipps graduated from Ball State with a bachelor’s degree in general studies. She will pursue her master’s degree in sports management at TWU.
