AS A JUNIOR (2025)
Zarlengo, in her third season with the Pioneers, helped guide TWU to their 13th National Title, as the Pioneers claimed the 2025 WCGNIC National Championship. The Pioneers also broke the record for highest team score with a 196.600 in Kitty Magee Arena on March 9 against NC State. Additionally, the Pioneers set a record for highest score in a season opener, scoring a 194.000 to open the season at home against Centenary. Zarlengo continued to be a leader for the Pioneers. She was a mainstay competitor on bars and floor for TWU, competing in all 14 meets on bars and 12 meets on floor. Zarlengo hit her career high on bars twice during the season, and she hit her career high on floor four times during the season. Zarlengo helped lead the Pioneers to a second place finish at the 2025 MIC Championships. She placed fourth on floor to earn All-MIC Second Team honors. For the first time in her career, she was named a NSCA All-American, becoming the first gymnast to earn the honor. At the conclusion of the season, she was selected by her team as the 2025 Pioneer Gymnast of the Year. 

AS A SOPHOMORE (2024)

In her second year with the Pioneers, Zarlengo competed on vault in three meets, scoring a season high 9.725 at the USAG Championships Finals on April 13. She competed in 15 meets on bars for TWU, scoring a career high 9.825 on March 10. She competed three meets on floor and scored a a season high 9.750 on Jan. 21 at Centenary. At the MIC Championships, she scored a 9.725 on bars to claim Second Team All-MIC honors. At the USAG Championships, she scored a 9.800 at the USAG Championships Semifinals to advance to the USAG Championships Individual Event Finals for the first time in her career. At the Event Finals, she scored a 9.800 to claim USAG First Team All-American honors on bars - the first of her career. She was named a USAG Scholar Athlete and a MIC Scholar Athlete. Zarlengo helped guide the Pioneers to a record setting year, as TWU scored their highest score in a season opener, highest score in a home opener, scored their second highest score in program history (March 3), set a new floor record (Feb. 3), set a new home crowd record (March 3) and recorded their highest NQS in program history. The Pioneers closed the season with a second place finish at the 2024 MIC Championship and the 2024 USA Gymnastics National Championships. Zarlengo was named a 2025 MIC Scholar-Athelte, a 2025 WCGNIC Scholar-Athlete and to the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll. 

AS A FRESHMAN (2023)

Zarlengo helped lead the Pioneers to second in the USAG National Championship, fourth in MIC Championship, and the second highest GPA in the nation amongst all collegiate gymnastic programs. She recorded career highs in her freshman campaign with a 9.800 in vault vs. West Virginia on Feb 26, a 9.750 in bars vs Centenary College on March 4, and a 9.750 in floor at SEMO on Jan. 27. Zarlengo was also named to the Fall 2022 and Spring 2023 LSC Honor Roll.

PRIOR TO TWU
From Littleton, Colorado, Kami Zarlengo has competed in gymnastics for 15 years at Incline Gymnastics Training Center. In 2018 and 2019, she was a Western Qualifier. Then, in 2021, Zarlengo earned the title of National Qualifier and was a member of the Colorado Level 10 second place team. During her time at Chatfield Senior High School, Zarlengo also excelled in her studies, earning Honor Roll all four years. She also volunteered in a number of organizations throughout high school, including FCCLA, Santa Clause Shop, Chatfield Holiday Outreach Program and Unified Mentor. "My goal was to compete in college gymnastics, and I have worked hard to be given this amazing opportunity to do so at TWU," Zarlengo said.
