2009: Competed on vault in two meets and beam in three meets...posted a 9.575 on vault at the MIC Championships and USAG National Championship semifinals...recorded a season-high 9.500 on beam in the season opener against Oklahoma.

2008: Injuries kept her sidelined for all but one meet as a junior...only score of the season was a 8.800 vault on Jan. 27.

2007: A consistent contributor on two events, vault and bars, during her sophomore season…average vault score was 9.453…had two vaults of 9.600 or better…came up big at the 2007 USAG Collegiate National Championship team finals when she recorded season-highs on both vault (9.600) and bars (9.675).

2006: Was busy as a freshman, competing on all four events for the Pioneers...beam was her top event, as she recorded four scores of 9.60 or better, including a season-high 9.775 on 2/25/06...vaulted in every meet for TWU in 2006, and showed dramatic improvement in that event, scoring a 9.525 or better on vault in her final five meets of the season...best score on vault (9.675) came at the MIC Championship meet on 3/25/06...also competed on floor exercise on 2/18/06 at UIC, scoring an 8.90...competed on vault and beam at the 2006 USAG National meet on 4/13/06...an MIC Scholar-Athlete.

CLUB/HIGH SCHOOL: Competed for the Cobb Challenger Gymnastics (1994-2003) and World of Gymnastics (2004)...a four-time AAU National Qualifier...named to the AAU National Team three times...named MVP of her club four times (2000-2003)...three-time Regional Qualifier...graduated from Kennesaw Mountain High School (Marietta, Ga.) in 2005...leader for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and a member of the National Honor Society.

PERSONAL: A dietetics major...the daughter of Rick and Kathy Nixon...hobbies include running, four-wheeling, boating, camping, and rock climbing...favorite band is Rascal Flatts and favorite food is banana pudding...calls “The Essential Wooden” her favorite book.
