AS A FRESHMAN (2025)

Ghanbari, in her second season with the Pioneers, helped guide TWU to their 13th National Title, as the Pioneers claimed the 2025 WCGNIC National Championship. The Pioneers also broke the record for highest team score with a 196.600 in Kitty Magee Arena on March 9 against NC State. Additionally, the Pioneers set a record for highest score in a season opener, scoring a 194.000 to open the season at home against Centenary. Ghanbari had a stand-out year in her first season with the Pioneers. She competed on floor in 12 meets in the anchor position and vault in one meet. She opened the season with two straight scores of 9.875's. She hit her career high on floor of a 9.925 on the road at Nebraska on March 15. In the WCGNIC Semifinals, she scored a 9.900 on floor to adavnce to her first WCGNIC Event Finals and be named a WCGNIC First Team All-American. Ghanbari helped guide the Pioneers to a second place finish at the 2025 MIC Championships. She placed second on the event to earn All-MIC First Team honors. Ghanbari posted the highest NQS on floor in Division II to earn her first WCGA All-America honor. During the regular season, she received the MIC Performance of the Week honor after her performance after her career high performance on March 15, and she was named the MIC Newcomer of the Week in Week One. Ghanbari closed the season as a 2025 MIC Scholar-Athlete, 2025 WCGNIC Scholar-Athlete, and she was listed on the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll. 

PRIOR TO TWU 

Kyleigh Ghanbari joins the Pioneer Family from Beaumont, Texas. Ghanbari competed and trained with Beaumont Gymnastics Academy. A successful gymnast, Ghanbari most recently was a National Qualifier in 2023. Ghanbari knows what it takes to be a champion, as she was a Level 9 and Level 10 Regional Beam Champion. Her personal best on vault is a 9.85.
