AS A JUNIOR (2025)
In her third season with the Pioneers, Goad and TWU celebrated their 13th National Title, as the Pioneers claimed the 2025 WCGNIC National Championship. The Pioneers also broke the record for highest team score with a 196.600 in Kitty Magee Arena on March 9 against NC State. Additionally, the Pioneers set a record for highest score in a season opener, scoring a 194.000 to open the season at home against Centenary. Goad was named a 2025 MIC Scholar-Athlete and 2025 WCGNIC Scholar-Athlete, and she was also named to the Fall 2024 LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll.
Goad did not compete her junior season.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2024)
Goad helped guide the Pioneers to a record setting year, as TWU scored their highest score in a season opener, highest score in a home opener, scored their second highest score in program history (March 3), set a new floor record (Feb. 3), set a new home crowd record (March 3) and recorded their highest NQS in program history. The Pioneers closed the season with a second place finish at the 2024 MIC Championship and the 2024 USA Gymnastics National Championships. She did not compete in any events for TWU this season due to injury.
AS A FRESHMAN (2023)
Goad helped lead the Pioneers to second in the USAG National Championship, fourth in MIC Championship, and the second highest GPA in the nation amongst all collegiate gymnastic programs. Goad recorded a career high of 9.850 in beam vs. Oklahoma on Feb. 19 and in floor at Lindenwood Tri-Meet on Jan. 29. She was also named to the Fall 2022 LSC Honor Roll.
PRIOR TO TWU
From Newnan, Georgia, Ruby Goad competing in gymnastics with Newnan School of Gymnastics. Goad won the All-Around State Champion title and was a member of the State Championship Team, prior to coming to TWU. At Newnan High School, Goad was selected as a governor's honor nominee and was a member of the National Honor Society. Goad's mother, Robin Goad, was an competed in weightlifting at the 2000 Olympics. Goad, who grew up in a small town, said "I come from a small town where lots of people know each other. I do my best to make my mark in my town and help those who need it. I am known to be friends with almost everybody, and I strive to make people feel welcome around me." While growing up in Newnan, Goad volunteered with Bridging the Gap, an organization that helps less fortunate people by supplying food, clothes and any other things needed.
