Biography

AS A JUNIOR (2023)
Powers appeared in 13 games this year for the Pioneers and recorded an assist and two shots vs St. Edward’s on Sept. 23. She helped lead TWU to a historic 2023 season where they had the best start in program history (5-0), placed fourth in the Lone Star Conference, and reached the NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Championship for the first time since 2019. Powers was also named to the Fall 2023 Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2022)
Powers started 12 of 13 games for TWU and racked up a total of 931 minutes on the season. The junior forward recorded her first career goal against Ouachita Baptist in a 2-1 loss on Sept. 10, 2022. She also added to her career assist total in a 1-1 tie with UT Tyler on October 12, 2022. Powers finished the season with 10 shots on goal with 21 shot attempts and three points. She was named to both the Fall 2022 and Spring 2023 LSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll as well as the Division II ADA Academic Achievement Award. 

AS A FRESHMAN (2021)
Powers saw action in 13 of the Pioneers 19 games, including four starts. On the season, she recorded two assists- one in the Pioneers 5-4 OT win at West Texas A&M on Oct. 16, 2021 and one in the Pioneers 2-1 win at UT-Tyler on Oct. 20, 2021. She finished the season with 10 shots and three shots on goal. She had a career high two shots on goal in the Pioneers 2-1 loss at Midwestern State on Nov. 3, 2021. She closed the season with 585 minutes of action. Powers was named to the Fall 2021 LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll. 

PRIOR TO TWU
Powers prepped at Midlothian High School where she earned letters in soccer and cross country/track and field. An all-district pick in soccer, Powers was a state qualifier in cross country. She competed for the Sting ECNL, FC Dallas ECNL, and Solar ECNL clubs.
