AS A JUNIOR (2024)
Hughes helped TWU advance to their first Lone Star Conference Tournament semifinal since 2019 after defeating SEU in round one to advance to the semifinals.

PRIOR TO TWU
A junior defender from Plano, Texas, Alexandra Hughes played for two years before joining the Pioneers at Eastern Oklahoma State College and Navarro College. During her year at Navarro, she made First Team All-Region defender for the Bulldogs. Hughes was named First Team, two Second Team honors, and won Academic Achievement awards in her four years at Plano Senior High School. Before then, she competed in club play for Solar and FC Premier from 2015-2022.

Additionally, Hughes is involved heavily throughout her community in several projects like Backpacks for Love, Habits for Humanity, and Derrick Day. She is a twin and the third youngest of six who plans to major in Business starting in the Fall.
