Texas Woman's University Athletics

2009: A second team all-Lone Star Conference selection... saw action in 14 games, drawing the start in 12... scored five goals on the season with one assist... her two-goal performance against East Central was the Pioneers' lone multi-goal performance of the year... also scored goals against Angelo State, Northeastern State, and Central Oklahoma... 35 shots, with 16 on goal... three game-winning goals. 

2008: Started all 19 games...led the team in goals (6), shots (62) and shots on goal (33)...second in points (12) and game-winning goals (2)...recorded a career-high three goals and six points against Southwestern Oklahoma on Oct. 5...selected second team All-Conference...also named Lone Star Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll and ESPN the Magazine/ CoSIDA Academic All-District Second Team.

2007: Started 19 of the Pioneers’ 20 games…led the team in shots (43) and shots on goal (47)…second on the squad in goals (4) and points (10)…also picked up two assists…registered a point in five straight games from October 7-21…recorded four multiple-point games and eight multiple-shot games…was the only TWU player named to the 2007 Lone Star Conference All-Conference first team…picked as the Lone Star Conference Offensive Player of the Week for the week of October 14-21…excelled academically as well, earning a spot on the 2007 Lone Star Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll and distinction as a 2008 Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholar.

2006: Started 17 games at forward for the Pioneers...scored a goal on August 27 at Incarnate Word...was fourth on the team with 28 shots...her 12 shots on goal were also the fourth most on the TWU roster...was an honorable mention All-Lone Star Conference selection.

HIGH SCHOOL: Hayter is a 2006 graduate of DeSoto High School...a four-year letterwinner in soccer for the Eagles...a three-time All-District 7-5A first team pick...chosen as the Eagles’ team offensive player of the year and team MVP for three straight seasons (2004-06)...named to the All-Tournament team at the 2003 and 2004 Duncanville High School tournaments...played club soccer for the East Teas Spirit, Dallas Texans Red ‘88, Dallas Texans Red West ‘88, and D’feeters squads...a member of the National Honor Society and the National Spanish Honor Society while at DHS.

PERSONAL: Chastity DeShawn is the daughter of Eric and Watkesha Hayter...a kinesiology major...born on Dec. 3, 1987...enjoys reading, music, volleyball, track, basketball, and football.
