PRIOR TO TWU
The outside back from Beaumont, Texas, Haley Nguyen, attended West Brook High School, where she was named Second Team All-District from 2021 to 2023, First Team All-District from 2023 to 2025, and Team MVP for both 2024 and 2025. During her tenure, she helped lead West Brook to a district championship and a fourth-round playoff run in 2021–2022.
In club play, Nguyen competed for Havoc Soccer Club for two years and Rise Soccer Club for six years. Beyond athletics, she was involved in several student organizations, including the National Honor Society, Green Club, Stand Up to Cancer Club, BARC Club, and BYTE Club. She also participated in Green Club service projects within her community.
A multi-sport athlete and sibling of two, Nguyen has competed in volleyball and tennis alongside her 14 years of soccer experience. She also trains kids in soccer—an experience she says has had the biggest impact on her personal growth. Working with them has broadened her perspective and become a source of inspiration.
Academically, she earned Academic All-District honors from 2021 to 2025 and Academic All-State honors in 2024 and 2025. She will major in business marketing at TWU.
