2010: Appeared in all 18 games while making 16 starts...All-Lone Star Conference Honorable Mention...scored a goal and assisted on two more for four points...third on the team in scoring...assisted on the game-winning goal in a 2-1 double overtime victory over Angelo State on oct. 10...had 18 shots on the season including seven on goal.

2009: Started all 19 games in the midfield...recorded a goal and an assist for three points on the season...had 17 shots including nine on goal...scored the game-winning goal in 2-1 overtime victory over West Texas A&M on Oct. 12...earned Lone Star Conference Offensive Player of the Week honors on Oct. 14

2008: Appeared in 17 games while making 14 starts...recorded a goal and an assist for three points on the season...had 28 shots including 14 shots on goal...netted the game-winning goal in the Pioneers’ 2-1 win over Dallas Baptist on Sept. 30.

High School: Attended Birdville High School in North Richland Hills, Texas…member of the Hawks varsity soccer team for three seasons (2006-08)…as a senior in 2008, she played her way onto the All-District 5-4A first team and was the captain of a BHS team that compiled a 23-3-5 record and advanced all the way to the UIL Class 4A Region I semifinals…did not play as a junior in 2007 due to injury…as a sophomore in 2006, she helped BHS to a bi-district championship and was chosen to the All-District 5-4A second team…has a wealth of club soccer experience, most recently with the Dallas-based Sting soccer club.

Personal: Halla Hassan is the daughter of Hassan and Carolyn Ali…a kinesiology major…born on Aug. 9, 1990…she is a world-certified black belt in Tae Kwon Do and won the gold medal in the discipline at the 1998 U.S. Junior Olympics…also a three-time Texas State Gold Medalist in Tae Kwon Do…active in the Islamic Association of Tarrant County.
