AS A FRESHMAN (2024)
Dewitt helped TWU advance to their first Lone Star Conference Tournament semifinal since 2019 after defeating SEU in round one to advance to the semifinals. 

PRIOR TO TWU 
Iris DeWitt, a goalkeeper from Bay City, Texas, attended Bay City High School, where she was awarded Goalkeeper of the Year in each year of her high school career while receiving one First Team and two Second-Team All-State honors. She played club starting in 2012 with Venom, then went on to compete for Rise DA and Houston Dash GA 06 from 2017-2023. Most recently, she played club soccer for Rise GA 06-05. Aside from her action on the pitch, Dewitt was a four sport athlete in high school, competing in softball, track and field, and powerlifting. In track and field, she was a 3x discus regional qualifier, 2x area discus champion, won Ladycat Track and Field Athlete of the Year, and broke her school record in discus in 2022. Dewitt served her community by coaching an 8U girls' soccer team for their Bay City youth program. Not a stranger to classroom success, Dewitt was awarded District All-Academic in 2023 and plans to major in Nursing at TWU.
