PRIOR TO TWU
Jaida Arizmendi, a Dallas native, joins Texas Woman's after attending Irma Lerma Rangel Young Women's Leadership School. During her high school career, she was named Newcomer of the Year as a senior, earned First Team All-District honors in 2022, and was selected Second Team All-District in 2023. Arizmendi was part of a nationally and state-ranked program throughout her time at Rangel and is one of three siblings.

On the club level, Arizmendi competed with the Mexican Youth National Team from 2022 to 2023. She was also an active leader off the field, participating in organizations such as Peer Assistance and Leadership and the Junior World Affairs Council. Her volunteer efforts include supporting teachers at Solar Preparatory for Girls, helping run summer camp at Winnetka Elementary, and wrapping gifts for children.

Arizmendi earned Academic All-State honors as a senior and will major in kinesiology at TWU.
