AS A FRESHMAN (2023)
Hughes appeared in two games this year for the Pioneers. She helped lead TWU to a historic 2023 season where they had the best start in program history (5-0), placed fourth in the Lone Star Conference, and reached the NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Championship for the first time since 2019. Hughes was also named to the Fall 2023 Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.

PRIOR TO TWU
Lindsey Hughes attended Lake Ridge High School in Mansfield, Texas. A defender and defensive midfielder, she has played soccer for eight years. During her high school campaign, Hughes was named a two-time Second Team All-District and the Offensive Player of the Year. While playing for Lake Ridge, Hughes also played club soccer with DKSC Duarte 04G and FDL Rivera 05/04.

She has won numerous invitationals and tournaments, including placing first at the 2017 Hurst United Turkey Shoot XXVI, winning the 2019 Plano Premier Invitational League and the 2020 5v5 Winterstorm Tournament. In her senior season, she guided her team to a third-place district finish and a playoff appearance.

Hughes was also honored for her academic efforts, being named an Academic All-District honoree and serving as a member of the Lady Eagles Soccer Leadership Council. She also commited her time to serving her community through various efforts including the Ronald McDonald House in Fort Worth, Adopt a Street, Mission Mansfield and her local soccer camp.
