Biography

AS A FRESHMAN (2024)
Lupita Bueno appeared in eight games this year for the Pioneers and recorded two shots in her freshman campaign. She helped TWU advance to their first Lone Star Conference Tournament semifinal since 2019 after defeating SEU in round one to advance to the semifinals. 

PRIOR TO TWU
Lupita Bueno, a midfielder from Arlington, Texas, attended Mansfield Timberview High School and was First Team All-District and Defensive MVP for the Wolves in 2020 and 2022. She helped lead the Timberview Wolves to Bi-district championships in back to back years (2021 & 2022). Most recently, she played club soccer for BVB IA GA. Along with athletic achievements, Bueno was honored for her classroom success in earning Academic All-District honors and AP Scholar awards while being part of the National Honors Society. She plans to major in kinesiology at TWU. Bueno volunteered as a tutor at community parades, school events, sporting events, and community mission centers. She will join her twin, Monse Bueno, as a Pioneer signee.
