Texas Woman's University Athletics

Prior To TWU: Played two years at Navarro Junior College...helped the Bulldogs to an 18-1-1 record and a fifth-place finish at the NJCAA National Championships in 2008...named 2009 First Team All-Conference. 

High School: Played four years at King High School...a four-year starter and three-year team captain...named First Team All-District, All-Metro and All-South Texas in 2007 and 2008...selected the 2007All South Texas Defensive Player of the Year...helped the team to district championships in 2005 and 2007...also played volleyball and ran track...played club soccer at Express Soccer Club from 2004-07 and Corpus Christi Xtreme from 2007-08. 

Personal: Megan Dene is the daughter of Rory and Laura Escobar...has two sisters, Kristen and Allison…a fashion merchandising major…born December 18, 1989…enjoys fashion design, shopping, the outdoors and going to the beach.
