Biography

PRIOR TO TWU
Nadia Araiza, a winger from Irving, Texas, comes to Texas Woman's after a standout career at Nimitz High School. A four-year First Team All-District honoree, Araiza helped lead the Vikings to  three state championships, three regional titles, and two national championships. A multisport athlete, Araiza also competed in volleyball, basketball, softball, cross country, and track, in addition to her soccer success. She played club soccer for Arsenal (3 years), Solar (4 years), and DKSC (2 years). The only girl among five siblings, Araiza is known for her drive both on and off the field.

In the community, she volunteered at a local turkey drive, mentored youth, and served as a coach with the Irving Soccer Association. She was also involved in school organizations including Student Influencers and the Superintendent's Committee. At Nimitz, she was recognized for her leadership and academic excellence, earning Cum Laude honors all four years. She also received the Principal's Award (twice), the Female Athlete Award (twice), and the  Leadership Award (four times).

Araiza plans to major in criminal justice and minor in music education at TWU.
