AS A JUNIOR (2023)
Kurtz appeared in two games this year for the Pioneers as a goalkeeper and recorded three saves on seven shots faced without allowing a single goal. She helped lead TWU to a historic 2023 season where they had the best start in program history (5-0), placed fourth in the Lone Star Conference, and reached the NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Championship for the first time since 2019. Kurtz was also named to the Fall 2023 Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.

PRIOR TO TWU
A transfer from Northeastern State University, Sydney Kurtz joins the Pioneers as a goalkeeper from Tulsa, Oklahoma. Kurtz brings collegiate experience and will make a difference in the net for the Pioneers. While in high school, she played club soccer with West Side Alliance, Houston Dash and Challenge. While balancing athletics, she also graduated high school with a 4.0 GPA and enjoys giving back to her community by working at assisted living facilities and refereeing youth soccer. Kurtz plans to major in Communication Sciences at TWU.
