2008: An honorable mention all-Lone Star Conference selection... saw action in 18 games with five goals and four assists, three goals were game winners.
2007: Started eleven games on defense for TWU as a junior…scored two goals and fired 13 shots…netted the Pioneers’ only goal in a 3-1 loss to Northeastern State on Sept. 30…converted a penalty kick in the 80th minute to give TWU a 2-1 win over Texas A&M-Commerce on Oct. 10…had two multiple shot games…anchored a TWU defensive corps that allowed just two goals against in the Pioneers’ final six games of the season…a second team selection to the 2007 Lone Star Conference All-Conference team.
2006: Started 17 games in her first season at TWU...totaled 12 shots, incuding a season-high 4 on September 2 vs. Texas Wesleyan.
PRIOR TO TWU: Sanches attended McMurry University, Blinn College and North Central Texas College … played soccer for McMurry in 2004 and was an honorable mention All-Conference selection, team captain and offensive MVP.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2004 graduate of Denton High School … lettered in soccer … member of two-time state champion team ... second team all-district pick … played club soccer for the Solar 85 and Storm 86.
PERSONAL: Theresa was born on June 3, 1985 … enjoys beach volleyball and soccer … undecided on a major.
