Biography

2010: Played in 22 matches...appeared in 54 games and recorded 98 digs...posted nine or more digs in six matches...had a season-high 15 digs against Pittsburg State on Oct. 1.

2009: Played in 28 matches with four starts...appeared in 93 games and averaged 2.09 digs per game...fourth on the team in digs with 194...also added 10 service aces...posted a career-high 24 digs against Dallas Baptist on Oct. 6...had 10 or more digs in seven matches...earned Lone Star Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll honors.

2008: Played in 30 matches while making seven starts...fourth on the team in digs with 196...also had 20 assists and 10 service aces...recorded 10-plus digs in 10 matches...had then a career-high 14 digs in three matches, versus Harding and Ohio Valley on Aug. 29, and UT-Permian Basin on Sept. 5.

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned three varsity volleyball letters (2005-07) at Wichita Falls (Texas) High School…holds the Lady Coyotes’ school records for most digs in a career (1088) and most digs in a season (442, in 2007)…as a senior in 2007 she was a UIL Class 4A All-State Defensive Specialist and named the District 5-4A Defensive Specialist of the Year…tabbed as the 2006 District 5-4A Libero of the Year…picked for the 2005 All-District 5-4A second team.

PERSONAL: Born on July 15, 1990, Arden Day is the daughter of Danny Richardson Jr. and Roberta Richardson...majoring in biology...enjoys reading, hanging out with friends and going to the lake when not busy with volleyball or school.
