Following two seasons at Baylor, Marcus was a successful volleyball student-athlete at TWU beginning in 2006. She currently holds the school record for most digs in a season with 656, posted in 2006, and was the team leader in digs with 576 in 2007. Marcus was selected All-Lone Star Conference Honorable Mention each season, was chosen as team captain as a senior, made the Dean’s List with a 3.75 GPA, and helped TWU Volleyball claim a team GPA of 3.65 to earn AVCA Team Academic Honors.

After earning her bachelor’s degree in Government/Legal Studies in 2008, Marcus attended St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio where she graduated with her Doctor of Jurisprudence in 2012. She is currently teaching federal, state and local government courses at Mountain View College and Navarro College.Â

Marcus has coached for Waco Juniors Volleyball Club and Alamo Juniors Volleyball Club and been on the staff of volleyball summer camps at Baylor, TWU and various clubs and high schools. Â
