Jeff Huebner joined Texas Woman’s University Athletics in March 2017, bringing a passion for competition, winning energy and lengthy resume to the Pioneer Volleyball program.

During his six years at the helm, Huebner has led the team to three Lone Star Conference Tournament appearances.

Additionally, a number of athletes have been honored with LSC honors during his time as head coach. Most recently, Bailey Wozniak and Trixie Oche were named to the Lone Star Conference Honorable Mention list.

Huebner has also coached two All-Americans at TWU. In 2018, Kate Ranes was named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association All-America Honorable Mention list. In 2019, Oche received the same honor, when she was named an AVCA All-America Honorable Mention. Ranes and Oche became the fourth and fifth TWU All-Americans, respectively.

In 2019, Huebner also spearheaded a unique opportunity for his athletes. The volleyball team traveled to Tamarindo, Costa Rica for a week-long expedition, including four exhibition matches. He once again led the Pioneers on an international trip in the summer of 2023, as the team traveled to Brasil.

Huebner also places a focus on academics, and his team was honored with the United State Marine Corps/American Volleyball Coaches Association Team Academic Award all six years. Also in 2021, TWU Volleyball was named as the Lone Star Conference Academic Champion.

During his first season at the helm, Huebner guided TWU to the LSC Championship match, falling one victory shy of an NCAA Regional appearance. That season, the Pioneers produced three victories over Top-30 opponents, including the largest upset in program history when they defeated No. 5 Angelo State.

Prior to TWU, Huebner was the Interim Head Women’s Volleyball Coach at Middle Tennessee State University, after being hired as an assistant coach in January 2016.

Before his time in Murfreesboro, Huebner started the women’s volleyball program at the College of Coastal Georgia in Brunswick, Georgia in 2011. He ended his five-year tenure with a 121-54 record, including a 65-10 record the last two years. Over his last two seasons with the Mariners, Huebner guided the program to Southern States Athletic Conference regular and postseason championships. Huebner led his team to the NAIA National Tournament in 2014 and 2015.

In 2014, Huebner was named an AVCA Top 30 Coaches Under 30 recipient, the AVCA Region Coach of the Year and the Southern States Athletic Conference Coach of the Year. At Coastal Georgia, Huebner coached four All-Americans, 27 All-Conference team members, and appeared 22 consecutive weeks in the National Coaches Top 25 Poll.

Before Coastal Georgia, Huebner was a successful high school and club volleyball coach in his home state of Illinois. While at Illini Elite Volleyball Club, he coached his teams to six medal finishes at the USAV Junior Olympics and the AAU National Championships. As a coach at Tri-Valley High School, his teams finished in the top 10 four times in five years.

A graduate of Illinois State, Huebner played college club volleyball earning both Best Setter in the Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association and All-America honors twice.

The Buffalo Grove, Illinois native married his wife, Erin, in 2010. They have three sons, Asher, Cash and Ace, and one daughter, Rory.
