Biography

AS A JUNIOR (2023)
Freehill appeared in two matches for the Pioneers in her junior campaign. She helped lead TWU to a historic 2023 season where they had their best start to LSC play since 2015, returned to the LSC Championships for the first time since the 2019 season, and returned to the NCAA South Central Regional Rankings.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2022)
Freehill played 30 sets in 16 total matches for the Pioneers. She finished with 20 kills on 67 total attacks. The rightside hitter had a season high 12 total attacks against Fort Hays State on Sept. 2. Freehill was named to the Fall 2022 and Spring 2023 LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll and received the Division II Academic Achievement Award. She also helped the team receive its 16th consecutive USMC/AVCA Academic Award.

AS A FRESHMAN (2021)
In her freshman season, Freehill appeared in 76 sets and finished with 113 kills. She also recorded 38 block assists and closed the season with 32.0 total blocks. Over her first season at TWU, she scored 132.0 points. She recorded a season-high 12 kills on November 5, 2021 against UTPB, a season-high 13.5 points and five blocks against Ouachita Baptist. Freehill was named to the Fall 2021 and Spring 2022 LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll. 

PRIOR TO TWU
Jessica Freehill, a four-year letter winner at GCMS High School, was a two-time all-conference pick as well as a two-time all-area pick. Freehill was also the 2019 GCMS MVP. Freehill competed for the Illini Elite Volleyball Club.
