AS A FRESHMAN (2023)
Hansen appeared in 28 matches for the Pioneers in her freshman campaign. She finished with 234 kills on 504 total attacks, five assists, 18 digs, and 64 total blocks in 99 total sets played. Hansen recorded a career high 17 kills and seven blocks on Sept. 9 against Augustana (SD). She helped lead TWU to a historic 2023 season where they had their best start to LSC play since 2015, returned to the LSC Championships for the first time since the 2019 season, and returned to the NCAA South Central Regional Rankings. Hansen made the LSC All-Conference Second Team and All-Freshman Team.

PRIOR TO TWU
Kady Hansen, from Stillwater, Oklahoma, played volleyball for the OKC Charge for three years and Ultimate Performance for one year. Throughout her high school career, she claimed six All-Tournament awards and led her team to two 6A Division National Championship titles and two overall 6A Division Championships in 2019 and 2022. In 2019, she was selected for the Oklahoma High Performance Team. Hansen competed in club nationals for the 16's National and 17's Open. In 2022, her high school home school varsity team receieved commendation from the Governor of Oklahoma. She was ranked No. 1 in Oklahoma for the Class of 2023 by Prep Digs for three consecutive years. Outside of volleyball, Hansen has been an active 4-H member since 2014, participating in livestock clubs, archery and shotgun shooting sports.
