Biography

AS A JUNIOR (2024)
In her third season with the Pioneers, Reed helped lead TWU to a historic season. The Pioneers returned to the LSC Tournament for the second straight season. Then, they were selected as the sixth seed in the 2024 NCAA South Central Regional Tournament, returning to the regional for the first time since 2015. Over the course of the season, the Pioneers posted their longest win streak, 11, since 2003. They also defeated No. 22 DBU on Nov. 6, marking their first win over a ranked team since 2017. Reed played in 113 total sets for the Pioneers, including one start. She averaged 4.15 assists per set and 1.98 digs per set. She closed the season with 224 digs and 469 assists. She also recorded 11 aces on the season. During the course of her junior year, she also recorded six double-doubles (assists and digs). Reed was named to the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll. For the first time in her career, she was also named an NCSA All-American. 

AS A SOPHOMORE (2023)

Reed appeared in 29 matches for the Pioneers in her sophomore campaign. She finished with 503 assists, 12 kills on 42 total attacks, 37 service aces, and 205 digs in 106 total sets played. Reed recorded a career high 39 assists and matched a season high 13 digs on Sept. 9 against Augustana (SD). She helped lead TWU to a historic 2023 season where they had their best start to LSC play since 2015, returned to the LSC Championships for the first time since the 2019 season, and returned to the NCAA South Central Regional Rankings. Reed was also named to the Fall 2023 LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll.

AS A FRESHMAN (2022)

Reed played 99 sets in 28 total matches for the Pioneers. She finished with 355 assists and 165 digs. The sophomore setter contributed 29 points, and 16 service aces. Reed recorded a season high 27 assists and 14 digs on Oct. 5 against Lubbock Christian. She was listed on the Fall 2022 and Spring 2023 LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll and received the Division II Academic Achievement Award. She also helped the team receive its 16th consecutive USMC/AVCA Academic Award.

PRIOR TO TWU 
Kiana Reed graduated from Lake Travis High School, where she lettered in volleyball all four years. She was named to the All-District and All-State Academic teams. In 2020, Reed was named the Setter of the Year. She was also named to the All-District First Team, First Team Pearland and First Team Fauelien. Reed led her team to a third place finish in Fraulien, an Area Championship and a District Championship. While in high school, she also played club volleyball for Austin Performance 18 Adidas. She was a member of the National Honor Society and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
