AS A SENIOR (2021)
Wood appeared in 75 sets across 25 matches. She finished the season with 122 kills on 378 total attacks. She also recorded 51.0 blocks, including 40 block assists, which ranked second on the team. She accounted for 151.0 points in her senior season. She recorded a season-high 10 kills on October 1 against Cameron and a season-high eight total blocks on September 17 against St. Edward's. Wood was named to the Fall 2021 and Spring 2022 LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll. 

AS A JUNIOR (2020)
Wood saw action in 42 sets across 12 matches. She registered 77 kills on 245 swings for a .208 hitting percentage. Wood recorded three matches with double-figure kills, hitting a season-high 11 kills twice - once against Texas A&M-Commerce and once against Dallas Baptist. She hit a season-high .333 in a nine-kill effort at Dallas Baptist. Wood had four matches with a season-best five blocks. Her season high dig total was seven against Texas A&M-Commerce.

PRIOR TO TWU
Monica Wood spent the past two years at Navarro College, where she was a member of the 2019 NJCAA national championship team. She prepped at Waller High School, where she earned four letters in volleyball. She was a four-time academic all-district pick and a first-team all-district selection. Her team advanced to round three of the playoffs her senior year.
