AS A SOPHOMORE (2025)
Howell competed in the 160 weight class in TWU Wrestling's third season, where the Pioneers qualified and competed at National Collegiate Women's Wrestling Championships in Coralville, Iowa. She competed at the NCWWC Women’s Regional where she went 1-2 after reaching round two in the consolation bracket.  

AS A FRESHMAN (2024)
Howell competed in the 191 weight class in TWU Wrestling's second season in program history, where the Pioneers sent three athletes to the National Collegiate Women's Wrestling Championships in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She placed third at the inaugural Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Women’s Wrestling Championship and concluded her freshman campaign at the Regional Championship Tournament after finishing in fifth place, respectively.

PRIOR TO TWU
Mia Howell joined TWU as a freshman to wrestle in the 191 weight class. Howell joins the Pioneers from Rockwall, Texas. She played volleyball and basketball for seven and four years respectively, before joining wrestling, which she has been doing for three years now.
