PRIOR TO TWU

Promise Parlett from Matthews, Virginia, attended Saint Martin High School and Matthews High School. She’s competed in Wrestling for 12 years, track and field, field hockey, crew, and softball. She is a 3 time Mississippi 145 and 152 state champion, Mississippi South State Champion, and Mississippi all-star. Her school has honored her as a part of the hall of fame, her accolades include 2x MVP, and she was recognized as the team captain her senior year. Her team has won the Girls Mississippi team state duels, placing second at the Girls Team State Duels, and the South State Mississippi girls team champions. Some Postseason appearances include State in 2023,2024, 2025, all-star 2024, student athlete of the week on the news station, and scholarship winner for 2025. She was a part of the Gorilla wrestling, the Beta Club, and the ACT Club. This fall, she is majoring in Communication Science with a minor in Spanish.
