Senior pitcher Larisa Garcia posted a 2-0 record with 0.54 ERA to help the Pioneers capture the 2013 NCAA South Central Regional 1 tournament played May 10-12 at Pioneer Field.  She tossed a complete-game shutout in the regional championship game against St. Mary’s.  Garcia allowed just two hits, both singles, in second and third innings and retired the final 13 Rattler batters in order to end the game.  She struck out seven batters in 13.0 innings over the weekend.
