Sophomore pitcher Kayla Williams posted a 2-0 record with nine strikeouts to help the Pioneers win a three-game LSC South Division series against Eastern New Mexico, two games to one. She did not allow any earned runs in 10.2 innings pitched. At the plate, Williams had a .429 batting average and scored five runs. She also stole five bases.
